Abstract

The meaning of the archaeological asset for authorities and civil society should serve as an incentive to develop synergies that seek to discover cultural identity, a sense of belonging and new models to improve the welfare state. It is often determined that in a population where authorities and organized civil society converge, they agree on the need to do something for its archaeological wealth, and that ultimately all this remains as a declarative issue. Archeology is obliged to provide data for decision-making related to the intervention of archaeological sites at a public or private level. The objective of the work was to measure the levels of perception of the meaning of the Cerro Ichal sanctuary archaeological site in the district of Quiruvilca 2021. As a result, we determined that 95.00% of the participants have a sense of belonging through meaning.
