Editorial Policies
Welcome to the Editorial Policies section of the Transformational Thinking Journal.
Transformational Thinking Journal is firmly committed to academic excellence, research integrity, editorial transparency, and best practices in scholarly communication. These Editorial Policies establish the principles, procedures, and responsibilities that govern the journal's publishing process, ensuring an ethical, impartial, and transparent environment for authors, reviewers, editors, and readers.
The journal's policies are based on applicable legislation concerning personal data protection and intellectual property, as well as internationally recognized standards and recommendations for scholarly publishing, including:
- Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law No. 29733 and its implementing Regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2013-JUS.
- Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 regarding personal data protection, where applicable.
- Colombian Law 1266 of 2008 concerning financial and credit information management, when applicable.
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union for international users.
- The principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- The recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
- The Declaration of Helsinki for research involving human participants.
- Editorial best practices promoted by DOAJ, SciELO, Latindex, Redalyc, Crossref, OpenAlex, and other internationally recognized scholarly communication initiatives.
These policies are intended to ensure ethical, transparent, responsible, and high-quality editorial processes, strengthening the confidence of the scientific community while ensuring that all published content meets internationally recognized standards of research integrity, scientific rigor, and open access.
Transformational Thinking Journal periodically reviews and updates its Editorial Policies to reflect the continuous evolution of international publishing standards and the needs of the global academic community.
